April Teacher Check-In – You’re Almost There!

Hey there, math teacher friend 👋

It’s April, which means we’re officially in the final stretch! The days are getting longer, the to-do lists are getting shorter (okay, maybe not that short yet), and state testing is either here or just around the corner. I see you juggling it all, and I just wanted to pop in with a little reminder:

You’re doing amazing. Truly.

This time of year can be exhausting. The energy dips, the student motivation gets a little wobbly, and lesson planning sometimes feels like crawling to the finish line. That’s why now is the perfect time to lean on a few go-to review activities that are fun, low-prep, and still pack an academic punch.

One of my favorite ways to review at the end of the year is with BINGO—yes, good old-fashioned BINGO, but with a math twist.

🎉 Why I love using BINGO for review:

• It gets students engaged without needing a full-blown game show setup
• You can easily differentiate by choosing which questions to call
• It encourages students to stay focused, since they want to get that BINGO win!
• It doubles as a sneaky formative assessment

If you teach 7th grade, I have an End-of-Year BINGO Review that covers key skills from throughout the year. It’s a great way to wrap up content while still keeping things fun and light for your students.
